Building Trades - Construction Technology
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Architecture & Construction career cluster. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in the building construction industry. The content includes applying construction techniques; reading plans and specifications; and developing trade skills in carpentry, masonry, electricity, plumbing and air conditioning.
Building Trades - Electricity
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Architecture & Construction career cluster. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in a variety of construction electrical industries. This program focuses on broad, transferable skills, stresses the understanding of all aspects of the electricity industry, and demonstrates such elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, as well as labor, community, health, safety and environmental issues.
Digital Media - Multimedia Design
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Arts, A/V Technology & Communication career cluster. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for work as multimedia artists and animators. The content includes, but is not limited to, practical experiences in webpage design and interactive presentation development, testing and production. Specialized skills in multimedia presentations such as video editing, audio features, and simple animation and authoring software are used to produce a variety of interactive multimedia presentations.
Digital Technology - Applied Cybersecurity & Computer Science Principles
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Information Technology career cluster. The Cybersecurity program offers courses that prepare students for further education and careers such as cybersecurity analyst, security engineer, cybersecurity technician, data communication analyst, intrusion and detection analyst, security architect, or secure software developer in the Information Technology career cluster. The content includes the fundamentals of web-based programming, web databases, network security, installing, configuring, monitoring and securing networks in the LAN/WAN environment.
Engineering - Applied Robotics
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Engineering & Technology Education career cluster. The purpose of this program is to provide students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the study of the applications of engineering and its effect upon our lives and the choosing of an occupation. The content and activities include the study of entrepreneurship, safety, and leadership skills. This program focuses on transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the technological tools, machines, instruments, materials, processes and systems in business and industry.
Engineering - Welding Technology Fundamentals
This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students for employment in the welding industry. The content includes but is not limited to planning, management, technical and product skills, underlying principles of technology, as well as labor, community, health, safety and environmental issues.
Health Sciences - Biomedical Sciences
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Health Science career cluster focused on providing students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the study and applications of biomedical sciences and the possibilities in the biomedical field. The content includes the study of human body systems, medicine, health, key biological concepts, communication, transport of substances, locomotion, metabolic processes, defense, protection, research processes, engineering principles and an introduction to bio-informatics.
Health Sciences - Patient Care Technician
This program is designed to prepare students for employment as advanced cross trained nursing assistants (patient care technicians), Health Technologists and Technicians, Health Care Technicians, Patient Care Assistants, Nursing Aides or Orderlies (66008439), Home Health Aides (66011456), or Allied Health Assistants. This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, expanding the traditional role of the nursing assistant, for both acute and long-term care settings.
Transportation - Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair
This program offers a sequence of courses in the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics career cluster, focused on the Automotive industry including; planning, management, finance, technical and product skills, underlying principles of technology, as well as labor, community, health, safety and environmental issues.
Transportation - Diesel Maintenance Technology
This program offers a sequence of courses leading to technical skills to inspect, repair, and overhaul any vehicle with a diesel engine.
