ACT and SAT Information

Students who wish to take the ACT or SAT may register for national test administration at a time convenient for them. KRAI is offering the SAT on select Saturdays. Select Kirkland when registering for the SAT.

KRAI is not currently a national ACT site, but students do have the option to register at several surrounding schools. These test dates are reportable scores, and students will be responsible for paying exam fees. However, if a student requires a fee waiver, they may contact their school counselor for more information on accessing a waiver.

School Day ACT/SAT information does vary from year to year, so please check this page regularly for update regarding the administration information for the 2023-24 school year.

To submit accommodations to College Board, please download the parent consent form and submit it the front office. Our testing coordinator will then submit the request to the College Board website.

PSAT INFORMATION

Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation/Pasco County Schools will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) to 10th grade students in October 2023 at no cost to those students.  This test is used as a counseling and diagnostic tool, which can be used to foster student thought about advanced coursework and college/career planning. Scores will be available at the end of November. Students will have to create a College Board account to access scores. They will eventually be made available on myStudent through Test History.

Students who wish to gather more information about the test and access practice items may access the PSAT Student Guide digitally. Printed copies of the Student Guide can be made available at parent/guardian request.
